Bass Clash Minnetonka
Tournament Rules

1) PARTICIPATING AND ELIGABILITY: Any person 18 years of age or older may participate. Any person age 12-17 years of age may participate with parent or guardian.

2) REGISTRATION: Each team must return a completed Registration form with full payment to lock in entry spot. Boat launch will be determined through random drawing

​

3) SAFETY: All team are required to wear Coast Guard approved life jacket at anytime the main combustion engine is operating. All boats are required to be equipped with an OPERATING SAFETY TETHER (KILL) SWITCH.

​

4) SPORTSMANSHIP: Maximum courtesy will be shown at all times. Stay minimum of 150ft from all boats. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are allowed to be consumed or in boats. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are to be at or consumed at the weigh-in site.

5) TACKLE AND EQUIPMENT: Only artificial lures may be used. No “live bait” or “prepared bait” will be permitted. Only ONE casting or spinning rod and reel may be used at one time per angler.

​

6) TICKET: Any team that receives any ticket from the DNR or Sheriff during tournament hours will be disqualified from the tournament.

​

7) SPEED LIMITS: 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT. No wake 300ft from shoreline or no wake zone

​

8) LIVEWELLS: All boats are required to have an operating livewell – either recirculating or flow-through

​

9) SCORING: Largemouth & Smallmouth Bass are eligible to be weighed, with a (5) fish limit per team. There will be a 12-inch minimum length. Fish under 12 inches will be deducted a penalty of one (1) pound from the remaining weight. One pound will be deducted from each dead fish weighed in. All measured fish will be closed-mouth and pinch-tailed for measuring. Any team bringing more that the tournament limit of 5 fish to the scales will be disqualified.

10) LATE PENALTY: Late boat during ease-off will be placed at the end of launch order. Boat inspection for late boats before ease-off. Any teams 10 minutes late for weigh-in at his or her specified times will be disqualified.

11) TIEBREAKER: 1) Total number of fish weighed in 2) Largest fish 3) Split Prize BIG BASS TIEBREAKER: 1) Total weight of fish weighed in

​

12) INSURANCE: All participants shall have insurance coverage. By signing waiver, Bass Clash will not be responsible for any damages/bodily harm

​

13) WEIGH-IN: Check in with your boat number before weigh-in at the given weigh time. Weigh best (5) fish Largemouth & Smallmouth by weight. By signing waiver, you agree to all rules and regulations
